Walter Edward Counihan's Obituary
Walter Edward Counihan, 77, passed away peacefully with his daughter at his side, on August 3, 2016 at Rex Hospital.
He is survived by his only child, Barbara J. Counihan of Raleigh; his brother, Robert Counihan and wife Mary of Marshfield, MA; sister, Patricia Bettencourt of Chelmsford, MA.; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Walter's name to the Rex Healthcare Foundation, 2500 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607.
