Wendi Carol Hall Mendez went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 2, 2020. Wendi succumbed to pancreatic cancer after a courageous two year battle.

Wendi was born April 10, 1964 at Old Rex Hospital in Raleigh.  Wendi graduated from Cary High School in 1982 and went on to Sherrill's University Nail and Cosmetology School. Wendi worked as a hairdresser for several shops in Wake and Johnston counties. Wendi spent her time over the past two years designing and creating jewelry. She found great joy in giving the jewelry she created to medical personnel who helped her, and to her family and friends.

Wendi was preceded in death by her father, James T. Hall. Wendi is survived by her mother Mary C. Jansen, stepfather Paul S. Jansen, stepmother Ruby M. Hall, sister Jodie S. Hall, step-sister Linda Miller, 3 step-brothers Stephen Jansen, Paul Jansen Jr. and Kenny Williams; several nieces and nephews.

Wendi was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Wendi's Memorial Service will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home on Saturday, January 11, 2020. Visitation with family will be 3:00 - 4:00 with a  4:00 Memorial Service.
