William Henry "Bill" Hawley, JR. 80, of Raleigh passed away March 6, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born to William Henry, Sr. and Thelma Lou "Jackson" Hawley August 20, 1940 in Clinton, NC.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Judy Dixon Hawley, his three daughters Lynn Prier and husband Chuck, Patricia Kaleel and husband Michael, Carol Long and husband Mark, his six grandchildren; Nikki, Allen, Jessica, Renee, Melissa and Lacy, His 3 great-grandchildren Jayden, Sydney and Gavin, His two brothers Arlon Ray Hawley and S. Dean Hawley. He was preceded in death by his parents.  He was a devoted husband and father/grandfather. He will desperately be missed by his Family and his dog, Rufus.  He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

A Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Montlawn Funeral Home with a service to follow at 12 noon in the Chapel of Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27603.
