William "Bill" McAllister Marshburn, 87, passed away on Saturday October 20th, at home in Raleigh.  A native of Wake county, he was the son of the late Abram Lennon Marshburn and Opie McAllister Marshburn.

Bill is survived by his wife Rose Marie Marshburn, son William Andrew Marshburn and wife Pamela, daughter Sheila Marie Marshburn, grandchildren Jennifer, Briana and Blake, sister Helen Lovic, and his nieces and nephews.

Per Bill's request there will be no funeral service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
