Obituary of William Moon
William Ross Moon, 50, died Saturday at William Dunlap Hospice Center. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a retired supervisor with the US Postal Service.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday at Montlawn Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Wendy Moon; sons Eric and Alex Moon of Raleigh; father, William Eugene Moon and wife Edith of West Virginia; sisters, Judith Wolff and husband Pete of Delaware and Kathy Abney and husband Rob of Kentucky; two nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Waddy Moon.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4 pm Thursday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Transitions Hospice, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
