Obituary of William Stephen

William "Bill" A. Stephen,, 76, passed away September 3, 2013, after a valiant battle with cancer. Bill was born on April 18, 1937, in Buffalo, NY. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Lucille and William Stephen and his sister, Lucille Williamson. He is survived by his five children: Anthony Stephen of Raleigh; Lisa Stephen of Niagara Falls, NY; William Stephen of Channelview, TX; Joann Spears of Pasadena, TX; and Aaron Stephen of Virginia Beach, VA, his sister, Juley Sirianni, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Bill worked at the Niagara Falls Country Club, Union Carbide, Linde, and Cal-Span. He worked on the Lunar Module of the Apollo Space Program for NASA in Huntsville, AL. Bill owned A-1 Appliance for 14 years,

and was past president of the Wilmington Singles Association and treasurer of the Bristol Homeowners Association. He enjoyed building unique birdhouses, ocean fishing on his "Salt Shaker," loved music, and was an accomplished ballroom dancer.
