Obituary of Willie Purdee

Willie Russell Purdee, Jr., 76, of Clayton, passed away Saturday morning, November 9, 2013 at his home.

Born in Wake County, NC, he was the son of the late Willie Russell Purdee Sr. and Foy Belvin Purdee. Willie was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time at the coast fishing. Willie will be truly missed by all who know him.

Willie is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Anita Purdee; a daughter, Dana Purdee Hinton and husband Mike; a son, Willie Russell Purdee, III and his wife Angie; grandchildren, Jessica Hinton Sizemore, Jenna Hinton, Bethany Purdee, and Jared Purdee; a great-grandchild, James Sizemore; a brother, Johnny Purdee; a sister Joan Stone; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

The Family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home 11-1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
