Winston (Pete) G. Baugh, Jr, 87, passed away at his home unexpectedly on July 19, 2021. Visitation will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home on Monday July 26, 2021 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm with a memorial service following directly after. Pete will be laid to rest in the peaceful Whispering Waters Garden at Montlawn Cemetery. Pete was born in Norfolk, VA to Winston G. Baugh, Sr and Beatrice E. Fentress. Pete served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War conflict as Petty Officer 2nd Class, Electronics Technician focusing on radar repair. He married his beautiful wife Molly in February of 1957 and they enjoyed a 64-year partnership in marriage. Pete had a 31-year career with IBM, starting as a computer repair technician, working as an engineer, and finishing his career as one of three senior marketing representatives in the world. He currently resided in Fuquay Varina, NC. Pete touched many people's lives with his infectious smile, a joke to tell everyone, and warm friendship.
