Zahmir Akiel Ramee Williams was born January 4, 2000 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the parents of Lakesha Williams-Rockcliffe and Matthew Akiel Ramee Langston, where he then relocated to Raleigh, NC at the age of 2 with his Mother and two siblings in 2002. He later then entered into rest on August 14, 2023.

Zahmir attended Salem Middle School and Green Hope High School, where he played basketball and football. He attended Beacon Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. While growing up in his neighborhood. Zahmir enjoyed riding bikes, taking care of his dogs, working on cars, helping others, making people laugh, and being around the ones he loved.

Zahmir leaves behind his loving parents Lakiesha Williams-Rockcliffe, Matthew Akiel Ramee Langston, and Quaison Rayon Rockcliffe; Grandparents, Twila Yvette Williams, David Dicks, Fitzgerald Black Sr, Martha Sanchez, and Joel Langston; two brothers, John L. Foster III, Quaison R. Rockcliffe Jr; and 6 sisters, Zahnai Williams, Jasmine and Ariah Rockcliffe, and Zahasia, Olivia, and Violet Langston. His two sons; Major J. Williams and Kashmir Ace Williams. As well as a loving partner Johanna Burton. Zahmir was predeceased by his great-grandmother and great-grandfather; Christine and Calvin Williams; his Aunt, Tiana NC Black and three cousins, Nyshon, Tyasija and Nyasija Williams.
