Zane West Allen, 16, passed away suddenly, Thursday evening, October 9, 2014 at his home. Born July 14, 1998 in Wake County, NC, he was the son of Travis and Diane Allen.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Shepherd Allen; grandmother, Delores Cannon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Zane attended Green Hope High school in Cary, where he was a member of the marching band and enjoyed business law and psychology. He was an avid Duke Basketball fan and an accomplished ballroom dancer. He was a wonderful son, and friend, who had terrific sense of humor, and will be greatly missed.
